There is nothing unique or executive about this hotel, maybe only central bcs it is next to Obelisc. Dont be fooled by the pics, its not even close, this is a very very basic hotel, bare min rooms w/very little amenities. They dont even have the kettle in the room. And they’re renovating at the moment, so, they start constructing at 8:30 on Saturday
The front desk person was a little racist to me. I must acknowledge that was only one of them, the rest of the staff were really nice, however the situation with that one person was awful. The hotel is really old, inlcuding a really tiny elevator, but it has its own style. The rooms are also old but decent, however does not correlate with the price you are paying. The only really bad thing in the rooms are the mattresses, really really really old that does not have any support or form, must be change, those mattresses produce back pain when you wake up. Unfortunately, I must say that my experience with this hotel wasn't great, and for people that are not white, I do not recomend this hotel. Also, I do not recommend this hotel if you are searching a nice classy or a modern hotel. The only pro of the hotel is the location, which is great. Thanks for your attention and hope my honest review can help someone.
The location is the only thing good about it. We arrived in the morning, the hotel looked a little fancy, we talked to the receptionist that by the way was extremely polite (Marcelo, if I am not mistaken) who gave us all the information about the city, tours, etc, there's only one catch, the double room that we had booked had two single beds instead a double one, which he said they would fix but they didn't. While we were talking to him, I looked up to the A/C and I saw the crust of black mold meaning the maintenance was not done for ages. We were handed the card to the room, 10th floor, elevator was really noisy. When I got to the room, it was really dirty, the A/C condition was even worse than the one at the reception, the bathroom was filthy and needed urgent refurbishment. One thing got me thinking if they don't do the maintenance on the A/C, I don't wanna think about the maintenance on the elevators. So when I want to go my room I had to climb 10 floors by the stairs. The walls were extremely thin, and you can easily hear conversation from other rooms and from the corridors. In general the hotel, you can see the was a really fancy hotel in the 90’s but for lack of investment and maintenance became outdated. I definitely would NOT recommend it.
