Mijama Suites

Arrived here on a sunny day in mid May. Location is very convenient within Diocletian Palace and steps from the Riva. We booked the top suite with amazing views from the little balcony in the upper portion of the suite. Can sleep 3 comfortably and 4 with a tight squeeze or with children. Previous reviews said this place is difficult to find so I have posted a video with easy directions. Inn keeper called the day ahead and asked for our arrival time. She was waiting for us upon arrival which was very helpful to confirm that we have found the right place!

Love this hotel. Super clean, right in the city center, kind front staff who were very responsive as we planned for our arrival. Room was wonderful and spacious. It was tricky to find the hotel but eventually found it but be prepared to lug around your luggage through crowds and stairs. However, the location was perfectly situated as a place to explore Split and surrounding areas. And despite being within the walls, the area where the hotel is is super quiet and free of crowds. Breakfast at the nearby restaurant was good. The balcony is not much of a balcony (was looking forward to having somewhere to sit outdoors) and no view, but that was okay!

You can’t beat the service and location of Mijama Suites. The room looked recently renovated and was very clean. Their front desk was extremely helpful and provided excellent dinner recommendations. Their central location is great to wake up in the old city before it gets overcrowded and is somehow still quiet at night. Be prepared to walk up a few steps to get to the front door and that Mijama Suites does not have an elevator. But the front desk was very helpful with our bags. Highly recommend staying here when you visit split.
