Militopia Hotel

I stayed at Militopia Hotel by Marin during an unplanned trip to Korea for urgent dental surgery. I booked it because it was close to my dental clinic at Sinheung Station (Line 8 – the pink subway line), but it ended up being one of the most satisfying hotel stays I’ve had! The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Namwirye Station (Exit 3) and it’s incredibly convenient for accessing Wirye New Town, which is full of excellent restaurants, clinics, and shops. Within walking distance, I found a variety of medical clinics — dermatology, internal medicine, oriental medicine — making it feel like a perfect base for a “clinic tour” if you need medical care while in Korea. The hotel itself was very clean, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind — they made sure I had fresh towels and water bottles every day. The front desk staff may have seemed a little inexperienced, but they were friendly and eager to help, which I appreciated. It was extremely hot during my stay, but the air conditioning worked perfectly and made the room very comfortable. The shower pressure was great, and overall, everything in the room functioned smoothly. I didn’t try the breakfast this time, but I’d love to next time. The hotel also has a fitness center with a good selection of equipment (free of charge) even a swimming pool, which you can use for ₩12,000. Interestingly, this hotel appears to be operated by the Korean Marine Corps. There are conference facilities and a wedding hall in the complex, likely used for events and training. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a unique feel because of this. One really convenient feature was the E-Mart 24 convenience store in the basement — it’s a self-serve (unmanned) store, which was both fun and practical. You can also take a short bus ride to Starfield Mall Wirye, and Garden Five Mall near Jangji Station (on the same subway line) is close by for shopping. Plus, it’s easy to reach Jamsil Station and COEX (Samsung Station) in under 20 minutes via Line 8. Best of all, there’s a direct airport limousine bus from right in front of the hotel to Incheon Airport, with departures at 5:00, 6:30, 12:20, and 14:30, which made my departure stress-free. I would definitely stay here again if I’m spending a longer time in Korea. It’s a clean, convenient, and well-rounded hotel that truly exceeded my expectations.

An excellent accommodation experience. Stay: 3/14 – 3/18 The location is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station, making it quite convenient. During my stay, the cleanliness was well maintained, and the front desk staff responded to all my inquiries. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Attended a wedding. Everything was spotless and the staff was kind and very efficient. Buffet was off the charts.
