Millennium Gold Hotel

We stayed here because we had an early morning flight. There is no other reason to stay here. Having read other reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. The rooms were perfectly fine. Although it was clear that the floors are (at most) vacuumed every day and not mopped. The walk to and from the airport is not very long, but I probably wouldn’t be very comfortable doing it late at night.

We stayed here due to easyJet cancelling a flight after we’d arrived at the hotel. Being honest we wouldn’t have chosen the hotel or the location if we didn’t have to be close to the airport. However, the rooms were clean, the service was fine, breakfast was passable and the shower was fabulous. We actually went into Naples for a dinner, which was lovely, so having a hotel with that proximity to the city was great. It gets five stars for location as you can walk to the airport.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a one night stay before an early morning flight. Nothing about this place was as it was portrayed on its website. First, it's not "next" to the airport, it was a good 15 minute walk through a very sketchy area. Upon arrival, we checked in and proceeded to our rooms. The beds didn't even have a light cover, only a top sheet. The bathroom in the second room had black mold all around the tub enclosure. We asked the front desk clerk for another room, but they were completely full. He sent a cleaning person to clean it, but it didn't really help. Then when going to bed, live bugs began crawling across one of the beds. At this point, we knew we couldn't spend the night for fear of bedbugs or who knows what else. We returned keys to the front desk clerk and requested a refund since we had only been there a few hours. The clerk stated he wasn't authorized to issue a refund and directed me to contact the hotel via email. I did so and haven't received any response. I would steer clear of this place!! Fortunately we were able to get rooms at a nearby hotel which were exactly what we expected.
