I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. There was a bit of a delay when someone in our group wanted to change their room type, but everything turned out great in the end. Breakfast was fantastic. You could choose to sit indoors or outside by the river, sharing the morning with a few friendly pigeons. The gym was well-equipped, the room was comfortable, and the swimming pool was spacious and beautifully designed. We also enjoyed a lovely fine dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant. One of the funniest moments happened during our salad course. It came in a sealed glass dome filled with layers of lettuce, and we kept trying to figure out how to eat them. But no, they were just for decoration. The real salad, with eggs and beans, was actually served on top of the dome. (Check the photo, you’ll see what I mean!) 😄 The staff were genuinely warm and friendly. The lobby was spacious and welcoming, and within just a few steps, we were at a shopping complex, which was super convenient. All in all, a delightful stay full of comfort.

We came to Thailand to get married and were blown away by the warmth and service at this hotel. The team treated us so well, even surprising us with a little cake to celebrate, such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! Breakfast was a standout experience, with a generous and well-stocked buffet that catered to all tastes, Western and Asian dishes, healthy options, and indulgent treats like taro ice cream. The drink options were fantastic too, freshly made cappuccinos, Thai iced tea, and fresh-squeezed juices made to order. The rooftop jazz bar was a beautiful spot to unwind, with live music and stunning river views from the pool. The gym was equally impressive, spacious, well-equipped, and even featured a sauna in both locker rooms. The location couldn’t be more convenient, right next to a large mall and steps away from access points like the hop-on-hop-off boat tour. But truly, the best part of our stay was the staff. Their warm smiles and five-star service made us feel right at home. We are so grateful for the memorable experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Hilton team!

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Decent stay, but definitely in need of refurbishment. On arrival, I was greeted warmly and my luggage was taken care of a great start. However, check-in was frustratingly slow. It felt like I was waiting 15 minutes while other guests were checked in quickly by different staff. The person assisting me couldn’t explain what was going on, and if it was a system issue, it would have made sense to get support from another team member. The room itself felt very tired and dated. This hotel is definitely in need of a full refurbishment it’s starting to show its age, especially when compared to newer or updated properties nearby. For the price you pay, I’d honestly recommend staying across the road at the Hilton Garden Inn, which currently feels more modern and better value. That said, the executive lounge was the highlight beautifully refurbished, with attentive and friendly staff. However, the food options during the complimentary service were disappointing and very limited. It felt like there was barely anything available. The complimentary boat shuttle service is a lovely touch and adds to the experience, and I also want to recognise the housekeeping team they clearly try hard and do a good job. Overall, I’d consider staying again only after a full renovation. The potential is there, but right now, it’s not living up to the Hilton name in some key areas.
