Millennium Hotel and Resort Manuels Taupō

After a wonderful sleep in the enormous comfy bed, pulling back the curtains to be greeted by the sensational views of the lake down to the mountains... absolutely stunning! The service by the staff was warm & friendly. The buffet breakfast enjoyed in the dining room with the lake right there, was delicious as were our evening meals. Our compliments were given to the chef. We highly recommend a stay here in the hotel, it has so much to offer & the location on the lake edge is just magic!

Lovely hotel in a great location. Plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. The lady who checked us in was very welcoming. We stayed in one of the Junior Suites, the view from the balcony was gorgeous and the spa tub was great. The room is superficially very nice but the more you look, the more you notice things are quite worn, dusty, and old. The room could use a bit of TLC!

We arrived at 10 as we came down from Auckland, the lady on the desk and the cleaning staff went out of their way to get us in to our room early and out of the weather. The only reason the rooms didn’t get a 5 is because they are very old and need a birthday. They are good rooms though, very comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower although the showers are very small. We got a ground floor lake view and it’s great. And the pool is bath temperature which is great for the kids.
