Millennium Hotel Fuqing

Very good accommodations. Rooms are big and well kept. Centrally located next to a mall. Will stay again when in Fuqing.

If you love grandeur and opulence, look no further than this grand baby. The entrance takes your breath away with its enormous chandeliers and glossy marbled floor . Love the bold display of Chinese paintings and choices selection of ornaments and vases by the lifts. Love the sweeping open car park and front facade, majestic it is. Most unexpectedly impressed and excited. If only the front entrance staff could smile and greet me with a straight welcome, either in Putonghua or English, I would have felt like someone special. When I returned from my shopping, I would like to hear a simple greeting “ Good evening “ or “ welcome back .” Just missing that human touch. Had the Superior Super king bed. Did not have a bath tube, which I expected to come with the room. Two minor items: the Chinese painting over the toilet seat and the woven laundry basket are out of place. Room is a bit standard. Love 💕 the toothbrush and the robe.

Stayed here as a guest for my own wedding. Very nice hotel but for Fuqing standards. Breakfast is included and very good for both Chinese and American fare. Rooms are clean and modern. Our wedding was we'll done and The food was authentic. The big downsides are the hallways reek of smoke as do many of the rooms. This was not as nice as the Shanghai Millenium we stayed in either. Overall if you must stay in Fuqing this is the one to go with.
