Very good experience overall, just a little cheeky to charge for crisps that are next to the free waters in the room. (Especially if you charge the same kilo price as vanilla from Madagascar) Decent spa, fantastic breakfast and good restaurant. (If you’re gluten intolerant it’s slightly more difficult for ya) Rooms are on the smaller side for a skiing experience (double room), but bathrooms are niiice. If you want a smooth experience from hotel to slope, this is it!

For the price we paid, we definitely expected more. The location is excellent, and the lobby is impressive—perfect for hanging out in big groups. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with fresh omelets made to order. The ski locker service, located right next to the slopes, was a major plus. The heated boot storage made the whole experience much smoother. That said, there were quite a few disappointments. You only get two complimentary bottles of water on the first night—after that, you have to pay, which felt stingy for a hotel in this price range. Wifi was so spotty that I ended up using my phone’s hotspot to work. Access to the spa facilities isn’t included, which was another letdown given the cost of the stay. Our room was near the pool, and we could hear kids screaming constantly. Imagine trying to enjoy a relaxing massage with that in the background—not exactly the spa experience we had in mind. The lifts were frustratingly slow, adding to the overall inconvenience. Housekeeping also forgot to line the bin in the bathroom one of the days, which was a small but noticeable oversight. While the location and amenities have potential, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We have stayed in many hotels around the world with a lower price point and received better rooms, service and an experience.

We came here expecting a 4 star luxury experience but it has not lived upto its reputation yet. We have been staying in the hotel for one night as a family of four. I have stayed in many ski hotels before, but this one would rank low. Probably my expectations were high since the hotel is marketed as top quality in baqueria… After we checked in to our room, they forgot to bring our luggages for half an hour until we had to go and let them know since noone answered the phone at the reception. Our room is supposedly for four people but it only has one bathroom and very minimal closet space enough for two people. Part of the bedroom is upstairs which makes it impractical and uncomfortable to stay in! The wifi has not been working in the room. The elevators also took ages to arrive. We tried the restaurant by the reception last night and the goat cheese salad had minimal cheese, very small portion except for the lettuce and certainly not worth the money we paid. The pizza was the only good thing. The service was slowish. The ice cream was also not a decent portion. The hotel’s location is far from all the restaurants outside so you need to take your car or walk for 15 minutes one way. I hope things will improve as we are staying for 5 more nights!
