Mim Hotel Istanbul

Good location of the hotel, very close to most of the must be visited places. Starting from the lobby the place is very clean and tide, lovely music is playing giving you a great mood. When it comes to the rooms we were provided with, it's a pleasure to stay there. Nice and friendly staff will make you sure that you are welcomed. They have accepted us fast and quick, were very polite and helpful indeed. I'm looking forward to enjoy my one week stay in Istanbul here in Mim Hotel!

It's not a bad place if this particular area of the city is the purpose of your visit. For a general tourism and city exploring there are better locations. It's kept clean and well maintained compared to a typical Istanbul hotel. The breakfast is decent, too. If you get a good deal on the price, it could be a good proposition. Otherwise, the regular walk-in prices are way too high for what you get in return.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE! The staff hardly spoke english and it was often impossibile to communicate. The furniture was mediocre, only in Turkey it could have 4 stars (don't trust pictures!). The breakfast was poor and the room was not so clean... One day the lights in the bathroom didn't work, another no water. Once, unwittingly, a waitress took my sponge, but, when I complained, I was given another one that was of no use to me. Finally, more serious, one evening at the reception they told us not to take a taxi and to use their shuttle service to go downtown to save money: how did it go? We paid 3 times the rate we would have paid by taxi and the driver even dropped us off in the wrong place!
