Mimaru Tokyo Ueno East

Amazing experience entirely! From the start to the end the staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend staying here, it was our first time and it was such a smooth trip in Tokyo. They also have a luggage service for your larger bags and they will send it to your next hotel, it’s very cheap and makes the metro travel so much easier. The location of the hotel itself is very good, you are very close to the metro and plenty of food spots.

We had a fantastic stay at Mimaru Ueno East Tokyo! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, polite, and always ready to help. The hotel is in a super convenient location—just a few minutes’ walk from Ueno Station, with easy access to trains, parks, museums, and tons of local food options. The room was incredibly spacious, especially as we were traveling with kids. We loved having a small kitchen and dining area, which made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean. Would absolutely stay here again. The kids did not want to leave! Mimaru made Tokyo feel like home!

We enjoyed our time here staying in one of the family suites. There were 4 of us (2 small children) and having a bed for each person was a nice way to unwind after a long day of walking. The staff were helpful and cleaned our room often. The only small draw backs was lack of a dresser to put clothes in and a bit of a longer walk to the train than it seemed on Google maps. I’d recommend this as a spot for any family to stay.
