Mimozas Resort Cannes

Honestly, it's not the best experience out there. First problem: sewer smell everywhere 24/7. And it is so bad that you can barely open the windows. Instead of that Mediterranean fresh air, you are breathing in someone's poop all day and night long. Second of all, the room itself was not in good condition. A lot of stuff was broken, including flex on beds, closets, safe, etc. Many rooms have mold inside and a lot of rooms don't get any sunlight due to their orientation. Service wasn't good either. The staff was disorganized. They were constantly late of their schedule, having breaks all the time to the point when you don't even know when they actually work and they weren't friendly at all and acted like they don't care about you and care only about money. This "resort" is located close to the beach but also super close to an airport. And trust me, if incredibly loud airplane noises every 5 minutes annoy you, you better avoid this place. Also, bring or buy some mosquito nets to cover the windows. Because there are no nets and hundreds of mosquitoes there. Keep in mind these important moments. They might just mess up your stay.

Noisy, full of ukrainians and their kids who live here long term as refugees , lots of biting mosquitoes because of the lake, planes passing nonstop, loud engine noise from the air conditioner which is not very efficient, outdated and stained furniture. No internet, paid parking.

It was a place I visited in October 2024. One of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The furniture was outdated, the air conditioning did not work, there were dead mosquitoes on the wall that had been killed and their blood had not been cleaned. The harmony of wall colors and furniture was horrible. I think something needs to be changed quickly.
