Minamo

After having spent a few busy days in Tokyo, we were ready to unwind and enjoy a tranquil and relaxing experience. Our plan to journey to Minamo in Ukiha was so special as wanted to make sure to the area as a very good friend of ours from Canada is from a nearby town. From the moment we met Sayuri and we had a tour of our room, we instantly felt welcomed and overwhelmed with joy. We didn’t realize how much we needed to be there to relax until we arrived and our time spent in the incredible machiya was perfect. Every detail of the interior and surrounding exterior was so special and beautiful. If you are looking for a place to slow down, unwind and take in all the beauty of even the little things, I recommend visiting. Our extent of our stay felt so personal and we appreciated so much that the team ensured we were well taken care of and that we enjoyed our time exploring the area. Our stay at Miamo was the highlight of our trip to Japan and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Sayuri + Haruka for such a memorable experience.

I was very amazed by the size and the aesthetic of the entire room. Considering the reasonable price, Minamo is one of the most gorgeous rooms you can ask for in Kyushu. So far throughout my Japan trip, Minamo is my byfar favorite and most lovely place. Also the receptionist was very lovely and kind. I appreciate the kindness and effort that you put in for us. Highly recommended :) thanks for making my travel enjoyable.
