Absolutely stunning property. Rooms are beautiful and property has two beaches (one is Sandy! Which is hard to find in Sicily). Restaurant and Service top notch- breakfast is amazing and offers many different flavored mimosas. Had to pull back one star because the panoramic view hot tubs were out of order and filled with dirt, TV was impossible to figure out even when we asked for help. Oh and be careful with mini bar and coffee machine.. nothing is free and prices were high compared to other hotels we stayed at.
Stayed here for 3 nights in second half of May in the jacuzzi room, weather was perfect, sea was warm and the staff very accommodating. And the sea view at breakfast just totally amazing! :) We enjoyed it very much, but there are room for improvements. 1) Breakfast - it was far from bad, but was expecting more from a 5 start hotel at this price level. The service could be upped a notch. 2) Our room - nice and big, but the lack of windows made it a bit dark. 3) Room service menu could be expanded a bit. Maybe add some traditional local dishes? And lastly, if it is not obvious - you pretty much need a car to get around when you stay here. And if anyone from Minareto is reading this - consider adding a railing / something to hold onto in the tunnel leading down to the beach.
The location and facilities are excellent, but the service lacks any added value. There were no complimentary extras—not even a bottle of water per day. Prepare to buy everything! The boat ride costs €25 per person, including children, which feels excessive. Unlike other luxury hotels, there are no free on-site activities such as yoga sessions, water sports, or a kids club. Additionally, the area around our accommodation was quite dirty and wasn't cleaned until we had requested it four times, which was disappointing. Very small gym with no air conditioning. The breakfast was excellent, but lunch and dinner were very poor in quality, small portions (most dishes not even Italian) and extremely overpriced. A few disappointments we went out and had our tasty Italian food elsewhere, with taxi (20-30 euro for whole family, depending on time of the day) instead of boat (25 euro per person).
