Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Mine has comfortable rooms with a green outlook over the pool. Relaxed common spaces and a stylish ambiance.
I rarely write hotel reviews, but Mine Hotel in Buenos Aires absolutely deserves the love. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had discovered a little gem located in Palermo Soho. It’s one of those rare places that manages to be both effortlessly stylish and incredibly warm at the same time. The staff? Unbelievable. Every single person I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was recommending a local milonge, or just chatting about the city’s best coffee shops - they made us feel like more than a guest. The room was perfect—beautifully designed with thoughtful touches that made it feel more like a boutique retreat than a hotel. I stayed in a superior room overlooking the little courtyard pool, and every morning I’d throw open the curtains to let in that the autum sun, we were incredibly lucky with the weather. The bed was super comfy. Seriously, I don’t know what kind of cloud-like mattress they use, but I slept better there than I do at home. Oh—and breakfast! Not your average buffet situation. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. I loved in particular the chia seed pudding and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The location couldn’t be better. Palermo Soho is vibrant, full of life, art, and some of the best food I’ve had in South America. Yet, somehow, Mine Hotel feels like a calm pocket in the middle of it all. After a long day of exploring, I’d come back, take a dip in the pool, sip a glass of Malbec in the courtyard, and feel like I’d found my home away from home. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. If you’re heading to Buenos Aires, do yourself a favor—stay here. Mine Hotel isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s an experience, and one I won’t forget anytime soon.
This is a small boutique hotel in the Palermo Soho area of Buenos Aires. The staff was just amazingly helpful. The breakfast area and adjoining sitting area is tastefully decorated. The problem with this hotel is that the rooms are too small. There is no place to keep luggage, particularly, if two people have 2 suitcases. Rooms have air conditioning but the corridors are not. During summer, corridors could be used as a sauna. The restaurant/ bar is open limited hours and not on all days. Breakfast had a good spread. We bought tickets for the hop-on-hop-off bus at the reception. However, we were not told that the first bus would arrive near the hotel at 10 am. We eagerly waited since 9 am, which could have been avoided if they told us while selling us the ticket. If you are okay with a small room or visiting for just a day, this is a great location. Room size is a huge negative. I will not recommend the place for longer stays.
