Minh Toan SAFI Ocean Hotel

Stayed here for a week in May, and the overall experience was great! Rooms, especially the bedsheets and pillows, were clean. Laundry service was quick; we sent several pieces of clothing to be washed and received them back on the same day. Looked forward to the breakfasts as well as they had a decent spread of local and Western dishes. Checking in and out was fuss-free. Rooftop pool and gym are small but it didn't matter when we had the city to explore.

Lovely hotel and location right on the beach front across the road. Had a medical emergency to which the staff were extremely professional, accommodating and patient. Their empathy and genuine care was comforting. They followed up personally to check in which was exceptional service and faultless. Thank you for a memorable stay! Special mention to staff Hieu, Minh Trang and Huyen Trang for their warm customer service - they were all so amazing!!! Hieu came with us to the international hospital and stayed hours beyond his shift ending to make sure we were alright. Thanks so much again for the great hospitality. Will be sure to recommend this hotel and return in the future!

Update 3: They left our door open the whole day after cleaning. We were shocked to say the least when we came back in evening. Retaliation for the honest review? Good thing our room was on the side by itself but ridiculous 🙄. We told the front desk they said they will check. After checking out no update nothing. But funny thing another lady had her kids stuff stolen. They are looking all over for it. Hotel definitely has massive potential. But as usual need better training. Update 2: Thought this place was getting better but I guess its the culture. But for the owner if you want this place to thrive and get better reviews from actual guides with more than 1 or 2 reivews then things need to change. Breakfast buffet is a free for all sitting. So people just come in get food and no table. No that needs to stop. This morning we sat down. 2 familes came in tried to take over our table. Hell no. Tried to ask to sit together. NO. I want to enjoy my breakfast with my family not have another family and their kids causing disruption. Have your servers stop guest from coming in and wait for a table to open up. Be more civilized and not barbaric. This is why japan and thailand are more praised than vietnam. Update: After their first mishap we ended up sitting there in the lobby calling around for another hotel but could not find any. About 30min -1 hr the girl came over and asked who we called and talked to and what number. It was confirmed it was their employee. In which they end up saying he did not have the update that the room was just booked before telling us to come over. 🙄... few minutes later she offered another room but have to switch rooms to finish our stay. This right here is what this place seriously needs to work on. Their customer service. They could have offered us this option after failing the first time. Instead they just said all sold out. But after a while theres room options available? Very odd and sus. The entry looks amazing. The views are awesome even for a partial view. Do better and train your staff to offer options instead of "that room is booked already" after your own employee told us to come to book it which was no more than 15 mins. 1st post: Called they said there was a room available. We said we coming to book it they said ok. We took grab to go there within 15 mins. Got in they said still there we said ok and the girl comes back and said its gone. Nothing left. Wasted money for grab and time now have to look for another place. Despicable practice. Do not recommend if booking same day.
