Mini Saray Hotel

Wonderful stay in Kalkan Saray Suites Location is near to center. Hotel have parking place. There is private pool. Stay in room 122 with mountain view. When you wake up, sunrise from behind the mountains and shine directly to your room. The balcony and room are spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Shower room is large, have two sinks with mirror on the entire wall. Everyday cleaning. Staff a very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, a lot of choices. Restaurant “THE ONE” is the best ☝️

It’s taken me a while to write this review purely due to a severe case of holiday blues kicking in every time I sit down to start, we arrived home two weeks ago but wish we were still there! I booked a 10 nights stay at the Saray Suites Hotel in one of their garden suits with a private pool. Even before we arrived the customer service couldn’t have been better. Communications with Çagri confirming late arrival details, information on trips which he subsequently booked for us, made the holiday relaxing from the start. Customer care also surpassed expectations upon our very late arrival as he very kindly provided some nibbles to settle our empty stomachs, when we found all local shops to be closed. The accommodation was clean, fully air conditioned and very comfortable. The outside area with pool just perfect, well equipped with areas to soak up the sun, sit/lounge in the shade and relax in the pool, giving the feel of a villa within a small boutique hotel vibe. Breakast was included and the selection was fresh and tasty, the omelette service was also a hit. The whole team at the Saray Suites couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. As well as the already mentioned Çagri, special thanks go to the wonderful Seda for her welcoming warmth and assistance, Orhan & the breakfast team for their service and friendly starts to the day & Joe for his dinner menu choice recommendations and general hospitality, along with the rest of the teams both front of house and in the kitchens. We ate in the restaurant several times (two lunches & two dinners) as well as attending the Turkish evening, the food was delicious, menu varied and testament to us returning so often. The hotel is well positioned in Kalkan, a little way out from the centre so quieter. Kalkan is hilly, but this was a gradual slope to/from town so never felt a too much of an effort even in the evening heat. As well as lounging by the pool, the Saray Suites recommended the Yali beach club. The walk there is steeper, down & up some rough tracks so we did it in stages. But it’s well worth the effort (or taxi) as it was a joy to relax the day away on comfortable loungers, order food and drink and have easy access into the beautiful sea. I almost don’t want to recommend staying at the Saray Suites, it’s a gem I’d like to keep to myself. Yes if you look closely some parts might need a little repair, but the place has a special charm and the whole team go above and beyond in making your stay a success. We will definitely return and thank them for making our stay such a pleasure.

By far one of the loveliest and sweetest stays we’ve had. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely amazing, and breakfast was just as delightful. A special thank you to the wonderful Seda and to all the other staff members who welcomed us with such warm hospitality and excellent service. We only wish we could have stayed longer one night wasn’t enough.
