Mint House Menlo Park by Kasa

I truly cannot say enough good things about this property. I work remote for Stanford & come to town about 4x a year and will only stay here from now on. I used to stay at Nobu, but wanted to try the Menlo Park area & im so glad I did. This is a true gem! I felt SO safe with a code needed to access the building & a room code as well. The room was gorgeous and didn’t leave me feeling cramped like a hotel does. This location had a beautiful pool & hot tub with amazing cabanas. A library with a golf simulator, grills, a restaurant, tap house, the list is never ending. I have never been so impressed before. The location is also walking distance to numerous locations such as 2 gas stations, restaurants, shopping centers, and Safeway. It’s also a 9 min Uber ride away from campus. To those worried about the train. Yes, it’s loud. However, it stops running around midnight and doesn’t start again until maybe 6-7am. They also give you ear plugs & have white noise machines. Neither my 10 year old nor I lost any sleep due to it. We slept through it uninterrupted every night. The customer service, friendliness, and helpfulness is top tier. I cannot recommend this property enough. I’m going to look for their locations in other states as well! Nothing compares, trust me! As a note, There is only a TV in the living room, I wish there was one in a bed room, but it didn’t bother us. Neither of us turned the TV on, she just likes to sleep with it on at night.

Incredible rooms and amenities for a great price. Loved my stay here. The location loses a star simply because the train is really loud as it passes by. Likely wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper, but they provide earplugs and a white noise machine and it didn't really affect me too bad. Would definitely stay again!

I booked this as a hotel and was a little surprised to see that there were ear plugs placed next to the beds. Turns out my room was directly next to the train which comes every ~10 mins with bells and horns all through the night. If you’ve ever seen the movie My Cousin Vinny, it was that but worse. Don’t ever stay here and risk losing an entire nights sleep.
