Minura Hotel Cala Galdana & Apartamentos

Superb hotel, great location & amazing food! We stayed for week last month but my initial review at the time didn't submit properly. We enjoyed the pool, table tennis & wide variety of food, as well as the convenient location. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops & car hire (with free parking just by the hotel). Great value for the dinner, bed & breakfast rate & such a large selection of food options, which changed every night. The evening entertainment was loud when staying in a sea view room, as other reviewers have said, from 9.30 - 11pm but we just used ear plugs if we wanted to sleep before then. The singers were good though & the sea view room well worth the beautiful view! I'd advise taking tea & coffee if you wish to use the kettle, as only a welcome drink supply is provided. The room was clean & the hotel spotless throughout. We'll definitely return - thanks for a lovely stay.

An excellent first class friendly hotel. Very clean and comfortable throughout. The food is very good with lots of choice. Weather was very hot and my only criticism is there is not enough parasols for the number of sunbeds. Location is very good a short walk to the beach. The evening entertainment is good - not excellent but enjoyable most nights. We went on a guided walks with a nice lad from the entertainment team (I think he was Romanian Mario?) to Cala Mitjama which was excellent. It was a lovely holiday and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Hotel only review, have stayed in apartments before (10 years ago) but tried hotel this time around. Hotel looks a little grim from the front - Juliette Balconies rather than “normal” ones - although rooms at the rear have tiny normal balconies (great view from the front with sun most of the day but nothing to see and no sun on the back). On the plus side the hotel is spotless and staff very friendly - the pool bar staff especially, the food there excellent and cooked to order. Always managed to get a sunbed when required around the well managed pool. Evening entertainment was brilliant - enthusiastic shows (Salsa/Latin American duo the best of an excellent bunch). If you want Sky Sports the Lighthouse Pub shows them all - even a League Two play off semi 👍🤣👍 Food on “Gala” nights (Sunday) is superb and not to be missed but the rest of the week, although excellent choices, the food could and should be warmer. Be aware the rooms are on the small side with few draws and no doors on clothes hanging area - was surprised to pay for safety deposit box - not done that for a while. However, we made the room work for us - beds very comfortable 👍 On the whole, though, we had a great time ☀️
