Mirabelle Inn Restaurant

Overall a very nice hotel, particularly for the price. The only negative part of the experience was the woman who was working the front desk on the weekend. I was meeting up with my elderly parents for coffee in the morning and asked if I could pay for a third "breakfast" so my parents could join me as the room included "breakfast for 2" and I had a party of 3 (I was staying there by myself). The front desk lady who, for whatever reason, was really put out by the question told me they don't allow for this and that it was just a Continental breakfast anyways (which was understood). She begrudgingly then offered to make a one time exception but at that point it felt uncomfortable/unwelcome and we opted to go somewhere else. The whole thing would have been a non issue if it was just handled with a bit more warmth and grace. The hotel lobby is very tiny and the restaurant/lobby/entrance are all in the same small room, which made it difficult to quarantine front desk lady's bad vibes from the rest of the hotel/restaurant experience.

Staying at The Mirabelle Inn felt like being back at grandma's house. While the amenities might be fewer compared to larger hotels, the charm and hospitality more than make up for it, it's a cozy, charming inn with a wonderfully European vibe. The moment we walked in, we felt transported to a different era, where everything was rustic yet incredibly cozy. The staff at The Mirabelle Inn are fantastic. They made us feel well taken care of, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay memorable. Located in the heart of Solvang, the inn is perfect for exploring the town and the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. It's close to downtown, so we enjoyed strolling around. If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, with a touch of old-world charm and a lot of heart, The Mirabelle Inn is the place to be. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Overpriced 3 star hotel. Nice location, cute building, nice interior decorations. Little water pressure, no in room fridge, breakfast while "fancy" was only some fruit and danishes but nothing substantial. Bath was 1980 as was some of the fixtures. And all for $400 a night on a off season weekend. There are better hotels here or ones equal at lower prices.
