Mirage Hotel

Great rooms, good breakfast, excellent bed and clean. Overall a very good place to stay. Lacks a bit in lobby design, but that's not a big deal. Location is great too. Close to major landmarks and the Riverwalk.

The rooms need maintainance. The lobby is nice. And the views to Kremlin are excellent(request the room with). Reception very kind and helpful. 1st floor bar is very disappointing. Although there are a lot of waiters, we have counted 6, for only 6 clients, the service was really poor and slow. Even for the glass of wine we had to wait like 15 min, while it already been served on a bar stand, none were able to bring it to the table, letting the white wine instead of cold get warm. We requested to adapt a bit the air conditioning, as it been really frozen.. about 16°C...we were not lucky.

I do not recommend this hotel. It definitely does not deserve five stars, the hotel does not have a swimming pool in funcion and the site I booked through did not inform me of this. I asked nicely to return money for the my second night, but they didn't want to do that because she said that they published on their website, but I dont have obligation to follow their website!, its their problem with agencies…that's fine, but the female manager immediately started arguing with me. Her colleague Ana translated, I think the manager's name is Alina, in any case the hotel manager does not speak English and they are very rude in their communication. Also in the room the air conditioner is extremely loud, the internet in the hotel also works a little, a little doesn't work. ridiculous and shameful!
