Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort

We just returned from an amazing 5-day family stay at Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort, and everything was absolutely perfect! This was our second time here (our first was 2 years ago), and the experience was even better than we remembered. The resort looks stunning, the services are fantastic, and the food is simply unbelievable, our full board meal plan was worth every moment. The hotel also offers plenty of activities for kids, which made it ideal for our family. We don’t have enough words to recommend this place, we’ll definitely be coming back again next year!

We check-in at the end of May. Not a very busy period, never had been here before, and eventually we got the last room on the floor; very close to the delivery and garbage area (I could hear every morning at 6 the trucks and their disturbing sound). Disaponting,… nr.1. Balcony was full of ants and all the premisas full of flyes; when we adressed the issue to one of the restaurant managers at the pool, he said: “this is nature”. Innaceptable!! Flyes all ofer the food and our bodies. Disapointment,.. nr.2. One morning, wife goes to the breakfast restaurant and tries to get a plate with cakes in order to enjoy in the room with the coffee (nespresso machine - but some mikey mouse coffee because they do not serve nespresso coffee in the room). Surprise: she gets stopped by the resturant door and told: it is not allowed to take food out of the resturant. Disappintemnt,.. nr. 3. Food quality and variety at the breakfast restaurant is maximum acceptable, not to say poor,… The only area where the hotel comes close to its five stars rating is the Front Desk; there is the only one department wich seems trained and ready to live up to the expectations. BTW, bathrooms are lacking the shelves, towels are too few,.. the balcony was never sweped, …. The general impresion is that the property is lacking management,…sime of the people are doing their jobs, sime simoly do nit care; and this is because the managemt is absent or they do not care,… Aa,.. not to mention the garage,… complete disaster; dirt, dirt and dirt, all over the place,… Looks like no standards and no procedures in place; Huge disapointment for a five stars hotel,… (Decent food, however, good service in some areas). Also, one day at breakfast, 10:40, the restaurant manager comes by and let us know that they close at 10:30 and we have to finish our breakfast; I mean,… in what kind of world we live in!? Was I supossed to stand up and disapear,…!?

Breakfast was almost acceptable. The coffee was extremely bad. Poor service — the staff is disrespectful and lacks basic skills. Beach services: A disaster — you wait 30 to 40 minutes for someone to assist you. Definitely not worth €600/night. The food and services feel exactly like those at a generic Turkish all inclusive resort. Pool sunbeds are limited, and just like in Turkey, people “reserve” 10 in the morning just to end up with 4, because others take them. If you arrive later, there are no sunbeds left by the pool. The hotel itself is pretty good, but everything else is an absolute disaster.
