Miramare

Loved this hotel. Some of the best views from the dining room in all of Positano. Dinner at the restaurant was one of the best of our entire trip and the breakfast was outstanding. Shout out to Maria for going the extra mile for us every day at breakfast and for our dinner, making us a special honeymoon desert tray. Renato is a beast carrying those suitcases up and down all those steps. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, 10/10 would highly recommend.

The staff, view, and location at Hotel Miramare were absolutely amazing – Positano is stunning, and waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. But the room itself was really outdated, and we had ants crawling around the bathroom, which was pretty gross. For how expensive the stay was, I expected something a lot nicer. Honestly, if I had known how old the room felt, I would’ve just spent a bit more to stay somewhere more modern and clean. The view was great, but overall not worth the price for the room quality.

Parked the car with their valet service. Together with their valet guy we took photos of the car. It was actually his idea. When I checked out to grab the car, I noticed a large scratch. It was deep. Some sort of a concrete wall scratch. I showed him, and he truly didn’t care. He said don’t worry, they have cameras. So I showed him before and after photos. I then called the hotel supervisor, Nicola. He didn’t care either. Overall nobody cares. I’ve filed an insurance claim with the hotel. We shall see what’s next…
