Miravida Soho Hotel & Wine Bar

This was such a wonderful experience staying here & such a nice start to our first trip to Argentina. Sol who welcomed us was so warm, friendly and always helpful. The gentleman in the morning at breakfast was also excellent and we were so well looked after. And OMG can we talk about the breakfast! It was incredible, way more than we expected. My partner will never be able to eat an omelette at home now after how good this one was. Thank you everyone at Miravida, you were wonderful and made our stay that much more enjoyable 😊

I can’t say enough about this hotel. it’s charming, a good value, has super friendly people, a good breakfast that’s included, and a wine cellar where for US$49 you can get an hour and a half two hour wine tasting that was really fun. We had room number one, which is a suite with a bedroom and a large sitting room with a good size bathroom. It overlooks the street so it’s a little noisy, but it wasn’t an issue for us. There are other rooms which overlooked the interior patio, which I’m sure would be quieter. A couple of those even looked like they had small lean over Balconies. There is an elevator. There’s a small coffee bar where they also have liquor. But the real thing here are the people. Super helpful and friendly. We had them help us in many ways while we were there for six days. It’s about a four block walk to the really bustling part of Palermo. We’re starting at about 10 o’clock at night. There’s just so much happening. It was extra easy to get Ubers here and they’re inexpensive , although everything else in Argentina is not. Highly recommend to stay at the Mira Vida .

The hotel is overrated for what it offers: small rooms, dated furniture, no special amenities whatsoever. It is significantly overpriced for what it offers. I give it 2 stars because the location is fine, but not in the neatest part of Palermo, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I found it a fire hazard that you cannot exit the hotel without the key from the front door or without pressing some button behind the reception desk... The breakfast was nothing special. I suspect several of the good hotel reviews are fake and several of the true reviews are for the bar and their wine tasting.
