⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Misibis Bay Resort – Bacacay, Albay Date of Stay: July 25–27 2025 Our recent stay at Misibis Bay Resort was overall a great experience. The beach was beautiful, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service and food were both excellent. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor playground, which was a big hit. However, there were a few things that could be improved. We found the rooms a bit underwhelming, and the pool and indoor playground didn’t quite meet our expectations. Despite that, the positives still outweighed the negatives. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was the journey going to the resort — it added to the adventure and excitement of the vacation. I would definitely recommend Misibis Bay to others looking for a beach getaway in Albay, especially for families and groups who value good service and beautiful surroundings.

Visited this resort for the third time now and unfortunately, each visit highlights the resort’s slow but steady decline—especially in terms of facilities. During our most recent stay, we were booked in a Cluster Pool View room in one of the newer buildings. The interior design left much to be desired. The sunken layout of the bath and tub area isn't just awkward—it’s an accident waiting to happen. Strangely, the tub is not positioned by the window, where one would expect a scenic soak. To make matters worse, the building lacks elevators, so if you're traveling with elderly guests or small children, be sure to request a ground floor room. Our room also didn’t have a working table, which we needed. Despite requesting one, the staff wasn’t able to provide it. Breakfast was another disappointment. For a resort marketed as 5-star, the breakfast spread was underwhelming with very limited choices—not at all what you'd expect at this price point. That said, the resort does have a saving grace: its staff. Everyone we encountered was courteous and prompt in responding to our needs. Their warmth and professionalism are the only consistent highlights in an otherwise fading luxury experience.

We had a pleasant 2night stay at Misibis Bay. 📌Check in /out process was okay. 📌Most of my requests prior to arrival were provided. Thanks so much! 📌Rooms were clean & comfortable to sleep in. 📌Food spread at breakfast though very limited were tasty. 📌Kudos to the staff- most were helpful and polite. 🔩 Need improvement on the cleanliness of common areas. The pool & playground near our room needs cleaning too. 🔩 Maybe fix the orientation of the shower door in the room. It would be better if it opens outward or install a sliding door instead. ✅️ Tip: if travelling with an elderly, request a ground floor room- the property doesn't have an elevator.
