Miss Sophie's Downtown

A Wonderful Family Stay – Highly Recommended! We recently stayed at Miss Sophie’s Downtown Prague with our family (2 adults and 2 kids), and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We booked the family room, and it exceeded all our expectations. It was incredibly spacious – essentially a full apartment with three separate rooms, giving everyone plenty of space to relax. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: large tables, a well-stocked kitchen, a mini bar with complimentary goodies, and even an espresso machine right in the living room – such a nice touch! The kids had their own comfortable beds, and we had a separate bedroom with a cozy and restful bed for ourselves. The location couldn’t be better – just 2 minutes from the metro, and surrounded by buses and trams going in every direction. We walked to most major sights with ease, but having quick public transport access was a big plus with kids. The breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options – from savory to sweet – along with really good coffee. It was a great way to start our days exploring the city. Most importantly, the staff were wonderful – always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make our stay smooth and memorable. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Prague. It felt like a home away from home, and we would absolutely return. Very, very recommended!

A three minute walk from the main station, Google maps easily guided me to the place. We booked a family room, which was spacious on any standard. It consisted of large parents room, a large room for the kids and the kitchen, a hallway and a large shower room with a bathtub. All seem newly renovated in style. The staff is nice. The family rooms are not at the main building of the hotel, it's right next to it, and there are stairs with a few steps to get to the elevator. Overall a great experience. We still have 3 more nights here.

Miss Sophie’s Downtown, Prague, is a Gem! – traditional Czech architecture, beautifully designed, centrally located. I had a fantastic stay at Miss Sophie’s Downtown. The hotel was impeccably clean, making it a comfortable and refreshing retreat after exploring the city. Every corner of the space felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed nice touches such as the high end coffee machine with espresso pods and the ample bathroom amenities. We also enjoyed a drink from the bar after we were done touring around for the day. I particularly enjoyed Miss Sophie’s central location. It’s a short walk from the main train station, which made arriving and departing effortless. Multiple tram stops were nearby and it is a short 10 minute walk to New Town and Old Town. We were able to walk to most places from this hotel and enjoyed seeing the different neighborhoods along the way. A key feature for us, especially travelling with kids, was the amazing breakfast buffet. The food was fresh, there were a variety of choices and the environment was spotless. I highly recommend it!
