Mission Hills Resort Shenzhen

Pleasant 5 night stay. English is fine at reception and with gym staff. Hotel room was clean and well presented. Beds are on the very firm side. There are two pool areas, both open til 10pm. There are Chinese and Western style restaurants, food quality is fine but for kids not accustomed to Chinese food there are limited choices. Meituan delivery is fine here. There is a children's play area with a soft play ball pit, and an indoor archery/soccer recreation area. MH mall is nearby which has many activities. Kids had a great time here.

We had one round on the World Cup golf course . The course conditions are fair although the layout seems flat or boring. The greens were unusually slow. My overall impression was that as a sports venue the golf club does not live up to its marketing reputation, is overpriced and way overrated.

Play 3 different golf courses. The experience was not good, especially the services in the golf wings . The golf wing has no sign and direction board. The design is like a maze, not friendly for golfers. The course arrangements is very problematic to 1st timer . The course master is ill very ill manner. Totally bad experience for overseas golfers
