We had a wonderful stay at Mission Inn Resort & Club this weekend. Despite it being Memorial Day weekend, it wasn’t too busy (except for the pool). The staff were phenomenal. Very personable and eager to accommodate you. The rooms were fine. Nothing was overdone. It was humid in the hallways and rooms because there is no central A/C but the room unit does a good job at cooling the bedroom. We loved our little balcony overlooking the golf course. The dining here is wonderful. While there isn’t an abundance of menu items, what they have is made very well. The property is stunning! Lots of flowers, native birds, and beautiful water features. We will be back!
Absolutely loved this resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The golf view was serene. The pool and chiquita cabana was perfect for relaxing. Then there's the covered hot tub and sitting area with ping pong. Loved it! The restaurants are conveniently located and serve delicious food. We went to La Hacienda for bfast. Resort also offers laundry service, very helpful when traveling with basketball players. Service was also top notch. Will definitely stay here again soon. Can't wait to try the brunch, it has rave reviews!!
Terrible experience. Here for a conference the hotel is fully booked as I was told by staff. There are other events happening, including weddings and they are completely understaffed. The pool bar was the worst. The bartender was amazing, but there was no bar back or anyone there to help her and people were crowding around the bar. Same with the la Hacienda Lounge at night you have a conference and there is one bartender and people are waiting in line for an hour, just to get a drink. If you know, your hotel is full and you have a conference and other parties there why would you not staff it up to give people a better experience. The agenda for the conference was mingling from 8 to 11 with drinks, but how are you supposed to do that when you can’t even get a drink? The management should’ve stepped up and take an ownership on staffing the place properly How do you allow conferences and weddings to book and not staff up your hotel properly? If you are planning an event conference wedding or anything with a large group staying here I would definitely not do it. You will have not a pleasant experience.. Something needs to change here because you can’t keep running your hotel like this. Everyone was complaining around me and people were saying they were going somewhere else to eat because they couldn’t stand the service at the hotel.
