Boutique style hotel with a lot of rooms, but a quaint, small hotel feel. Kind and gracious staff upon welcome and I recommend downloading the Mitsui app for a smoother check-in. Close to numerous sights - the National Stadium & Gardens, Jingu Stadium and Meiji Shrine. Subway station across the street with a more major hub within a quarter mile. Smaller rooms for 6ft and above, but still well maintained with a great balcony and if you are efficiently traveling, it should not be an issue. Fantastic bar staff and cocktails with a Japanese public bath that one must try! Great hotel for passing through and checking the area.

Nestled in a low-key neighbourhood away from the noise of the city is where I experienced one of the best stays, Mitsui Garden Hotel. The staff can understand english but might not be able to hold a conversation but that’s alright and manageable with translation apps. You will definitely have to pay extra for the stadium view, would barely find a time when that view is available although the city view is equally stunning.

Saved our entire Tokyo trip! After checking into another "4-star" hotel in Akasaka that was far below expectations, we decided to make a change to Mitsui Garden and it is a night and day experience. Dropped off our bags early in the morning to do some sight seeing and they were sent to our room before check-in, room is clean, AC is great, adequately sized for a Tokyo hotel, and all amenities are top notch. The most pleasantly surprising detail was the concierge who greeted us at the door, handled all of our luggage and check-in arrangements, and even gave us a guide book for areas to visit around the city; she immediately put us at ease and got our vacation back on track. I would stay here again without question, 11/10.
