Location is just amazing. You can walk to the best spots, and also take the bus to multiple other touristy sports. Rooms are impeccable (modern and clean) breakfast is great. Highly recommend this hotel on your stay in Kyoto
Stunning hotel, very well located in a hype location (plenty of nice shops, cafes and restaurants around). Absolutely beautiful. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend. The reason why I don’t put 5 stars is the food: breakfast is average, lacks diversity and quality is no there. We had a meal (the restaurant is supposedly Italian): pasta was beyond average… Also a welcome drink and cold towels upon arrival would be nice !
As a five-star hotel, you should pay close attention to the quality of mattresses and pillows. However, tonight is my third night here, and I’m writing this review in the early morning after repeatedly waking up during the night, unable to get a proper rest. The experience has been very disappointing. I never encountered such issues at hotels of the same standard in Osaka. Additionally, the quality of the breakfast is far from what is expected of a five-star hotel. Overall, the service and standards do not match the hotel’s rating. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and genuinely improves the guest experience.
