Miyako City Osaka Hommachi

On Japanese standards of hotels in this price range and location the hotel was very good. The staff are friendly and spoke reasonable English. Our room was a reasonable size, comfortable bed, well appointed and good size bathroom. The breakfast had a good range of western food options to choose from. The free washing machines & dryers within the hotel were very good, available & easy to use. We would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Words cannot describe the level of detail the staff put in to this hotel. The level of cleanliness in the rooms is honestly better than my own room; additionally, the rooms look better in person than in the photos. the breakfast in the morning was so flavourful, fresh and enjoyable that it was the best breakfast I ever had. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, the staff were resilient and did the best they could to resolve any issues we had in the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel is located very near to a lot of shops and tourist attractions which makes it possible to walk to wherever you need to go and not rely on public transport as much. Honestly this hotel might not be the cheapest option, but if you want a flawless hotel experience, then this hotel will give you that experience.

Staff was attentive and accommodated us earlier than check in time as we arrived. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however lack hangers to dry clothes that can be washed in the washing machines but can’t be dried. Washing machines are quite convenient, and front desk was able to exchange bills for coins to use. Location wise, it’s a good / safe neighborhood and it’s well connected, meaning you can reach most touristic places in ~30 mins. The closest metro station is not very close though, and closest exit closes early (9PM). It’s a bit hard to get here with luggage. Please note hotel doesn’t offer free breakfast, and it doesn’t have a spa or gym. I recommend the hotel for future travelers and I’d stay again if I don’t have heavy luggage with me.
