Waiting for our beds for over 2 hours, every time they say 5 minutes. Same with dinner we ordered. It is a wannabe luxury hotel.

My daughter and I were with a tour group that arrived at the Mogador Marina Hotel on Oct 12, 2024. There was utter chaos and pandemonium in the main lobby. It seemed like forever to get a key to a room since other buses were arriving and people were crowding the lobby area. Once we did receive our room key we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs due to the amount of people and limited elevator space. The hotel has 2 small elevators. Our room was a mess. There were urine stains on our bidet, a bathroom door that could not be locked, black tar or paint spots all over a dirty floor, no air conditioning, internet speed of 2mbps, rags for towels and as I tucked in for the night I felt something bite my leg no less than 3 times. This room was dirty and in need of serious repair and clearly not for customer use. We soon discovered we were not alone. I have video of one of our passengers showing streams of water leaking down from the floor above into his bathroom sink. Another individual sent around pictures of a pipe up through the floor where his toilet should be and a picture of his toilet under the bathroom sink. A woman we had made friends with told us the next morning she sat up all night on a lobby couch because she found 6 bugs in her room all engorged with blood (which she presumed were bed bugs and her blood). Suffice to say, our one night stay was a nightmare. We subsequently learned the Mogador Marina Hotel has been sold to the Hilton group and had overbooked for our last night's stay on October 12. As if the current owners wanted to squeeze every last dollar they could before the Hotel changed hands. If I had the choice, I would have moved hotels with my daughter and spent our last night under better conditions. Definitely not a Hotel for use at this juncture.
