Moksha at Kitulgala Rainforest Boutique Hotel

Moksha, our driver said the name meant heaven. And this place nestled in the middle of rain forest was truly a heavenly experience for two nights. We loved every thing about it, the architecture, interior, people, service, nature and food! Some of my favorite memories include exploring the place and the natural ponds, every one must do that! Don’t forget to be a-little adventurous and go to the hidden pond.. it is worth it.. The walking safari by the hotel was another experience i will never forge (special thanks to our tour guide in the picture!!) The food and drinks deserve another special mention!! I miss the place already.. I miss every one we met and their smiles and kindness.. we wish to visit again in the future.

The resort is set in a peaceful and serene environment, offering the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. The highlight of our stay was the incredible natural pool, which blended seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Floating in the pool while gazing at the forest was an experience like no other, making our time here even more special. The food was another standout feature. Every meal was a delight and fresh with a variety of delicious and well-prepared dishes that exceeded our expectations. The quality, flavors, and presentation were all top-notch, making dining at the resort an experience in itself. Most of foods come from their own garden and made by themselves. Baked yogurt was my favourite during our stay at Moksha. Overall, our two days stay was nothing short of amazing. The combination of stunning views, a tranquil setting, an incredible infinity pool, and fantastic food made for a perfect retreat. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. Most valuable part of our stay was we felt like home at the resort. We can’t wait to return!

What an amazing place, right in the middle of the jungle, this hotel guarantee a top service, the staff is absolutely excellent. There is also a river really close to the swimming pool with a private access for the hotel guests in order to swim safely in a natural pool. Special thank to Anthony, the guest relation manager and his staff, they really made the difference explaining us a lot of curiosity about that area and they took us for a walk in the local nearby village. This was so special! Huge thank to everybody!
