Molton Kabatas Hotel

Great place for travelling in group! The room we rented is huge (loft-dublex) and there was more than enough room for us - a family of 4. The amenities are working well (washer, stove, etc). The location is the best thing about this hotel. It was very near all the stuff needed by traveler in Nisantasi area. The hotel is near train station, near a good mall, lots of good restaurants and cafe to choose from. Very convenient and would recommend this place to tourists.

The staff is very, very helpful, and the rooms are quite spacious and modern, but nothing can make up for the constant smell of sewage that permeates the building, including even the hotel lobby. I understand that plumbing is an issue in old buildings but, frankly, this property should never have been made into a hotel without a solution for that. The smell was the worst in the kitchen and bathrooms, where the sinks are located, and strong enough to make it difficult to brush your teeth. The location was great as far as access to the subway.

The facilities in general, are average or slightly above average. The location is quite good, next to a Metro station. However, there were two appalling issues. Firstly, the bathroom drain lets out a foul sewer stench where one can smell in the lounge. Secondly, they asked for payment in advance so we paid for a week. Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances, we had to leave after five nights. When we asked for a refund of the last two days which were $150, they refused. We asked if they could keep them as a down payment for our next visit, they refused too. Appalling business ethics.
