Great Hotel with and even better restaurant and sunset view. Only downside is that the village and beach nearby is not really nice (except for the incredible Greek ruins). Service was great, we got another room with a better view upon request. Spa treatments were nice, the infinity pool with a sunset view is breathtaking.

Nice resort with beautiful sunset views. Service also excellent. Typical of Sicilian accommodations, no useful kettle. (Mine was white crusted inside). Excellent food.

Unfortunately, our experience this time was disappointing. We were only there for dinner, so a longer stay was out of the question for us. The whole Restaurant stinks like a sewer in the later evening. We first had an aperitif outside on the terrace - a really nice location with a great view. However, it took a very long time before we were served. As our table inside was not yet ready, we ordered more drinks, but empty glasses and bottles were not cleared by the service staff. When our table was ready after about 30 minutes, we took our seats. From this point on, unfortunately, everything did not run smoothly. The drinks order was taken about 20 minutes later and the drinks themselves were served another 20 minutes later. The meal then took almost 2 hours in total, so the first of us didn't get our food until 10:30pm. By the time everyone had their food, it was already 10:45pm. Although the food is expensive, the quality and taste did not meet our expectations. The mussels were a small portion with only four mussels and the sauce had a consistency reminiscent of honey due to the long warming time. The pasta ragu consisted of pasta napoli with about 25 grams of tasteless minced meat. The service at the other tables, which at times were only occupied by four people, was similarly poor. People just looked at each other and were very disappointed with the quality of the service. Overall, the experience was unfortunately disappointing, especially considering the high prices. We approached the waiter about the situation, but unfortunately he showed no understanding or apology. He even blamed us for ordering too many different dishes. There were exactly three different dishes. From our point of view, it is advisable to avoid this place.
