Warning- a/c never cooled the room. The room never cooled down. We were there for 5 nights. We left the air conditioner on lowest temp, highest fan. Everyday it was warm in there. The bedroom was really hot. We asked management about cooling the room, they said it was low as it could go. Location- it was in a residential area. Too far to walk to the beach. Too far to go to downtown. We had to rely on bus or taxi. The subway station closest to the hotel was closed for repair.

The photos on the website give an impression of a high quality hotel. However, our experience was disappointing. Customer service was almost nonexistent which is the main reason for our low rating. Our rooms were on the ground floor and windows had security grills like in prison. People walked past our windows which is why it didn’t feel private and we kept the curtains closed. A situation developed requiring the staff attention but our needs and comfort were totally ignored. Who would be happy to pay AUD $400 for a sleepless night? We would expect a basic consideration about our basic need for a night sleep if you call this accommodation a hotel.
