Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk

We decided to take an impromptu date to black hawk. This casino caught our eye because of the great buffet deal. Was absolutely worth it. Service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh seafood and juicy prime rib all with a lobster tail and snow crab. We ended up purchasing day spa passes. The amenities were out of this world. The snow on the weather machine was broken but still enjoyed everything else available including a fresh water hot tub and a salt wall room! The room was beautiful and had a great view. The complementary breakfast could use an update. Very limited and honestly have had better breakfast at a continental inn. But overall this hotel was superb. Will definitely visit again.

Had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks while working. The rooms were always clean, food at the restaurants was great and the beds were very comfortable. Great value for the amount of amenities you get for the price. Pretty much every employee from the pool to the restaurants was very professional and kind, most notably Chance from the front desk, Nellie at the pool, and Tyler a bartender at Mariposa. All exceptional service professionals. Huge thanks to Paper Hartman for helping us out with reservations. She truly went above and beyond to get our crew set up with rooms and I have passed that along to other crews who will be working close to here in the future.

The Monarch is a very clean establishment and the staff is super friendly. The one thing I didn’t like about my stay was when playing the slot machines, my husband and I waited hours before any staff greeted us and offered a drink. That is supposed to be part of the gambling experience is the complimentary drinks while gambling. This was the only thing I was impressed about for my stay everything else was amazing!
