This is clearly an older hotel, but it’s been maintained beautifully. We had a huge room for just the two of us, with an equally large balcony that featured two separate seating areas. The reception staff was super welcoming, and we loved the small library of books in multiple languages that guests can borrow. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, and they let us in with no fuss at all. The room was well-equipped with bathrobes, plenty of towels, and all the toiletries smelled lovely. Breakfast was great—lots of options including different breads, jams, and cereals. The outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing, and walking to the thermal baths is very convenient.
A Perfect Spa Getaway – We’ll Definitely Be Back! We had a wonderful two-night stay at Mondorf Domaine Thermal and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing escape. The spa facilities were excellent clean, modern, and incredibly soothing. We also had massages during our stay, and they were absolutely amazing professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish
Terrible experience with one of the hotel's employees: Jean Yves , one of the hosts and at the reception/front desk. Rude, not willing to help. We had two experiences with him, both bad: 1. At Check-in, i spoke to him in French ( i have conversational proficiency as i did my high school at a French school), and he basically couldn't help but asked for a person to whom he could speak. ( Really?? At the front desk and hosting many international travelers for the ironman 70.3 Luxembourg?). He ended up ignoring me and talking to my daughter who is fluent 2. He shhhhd my cousin ( also a guest at the hotel) in a very loud and rude manner from his desk ... When my cousin reply, politely and asking him to use better manners " could you please use some kindness" / the words she used, he was even more rude. In addition, breakfast needs to be better planned for peak moments. Employees were kind and helpful but having only one coffee machine properly working didn't help
