Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes

An unforgettable experience ! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here thanks to the young and dynamic staff who welcome their guests and provide exceptional service. The rooms are lovely, but unfortunately a bit small to open our suitcases. The restaurant Morimoto is truly amazing, and we were surprised to learn it does not yet have a Michelin star. Even when the chef isn’t in-house, the second chef masters the fire art of the cooking process. Our server, Lea, was very kind, attentive and she knew the menu thoroughly well. The decor, designed by Philippe Stark, is tasteful and lovely in the evening with its lamps and fairy lights. The spa/pool area is relaxing; the steam room and sauna are the perfect temperature. All in all, we highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

From check in to checkout we had a great stay, room was very comfortable, location is a bit far from old town but in between attractions so not a big issue. Really enjoyed the food - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only nit pick would be that I wish the food temperature is better.

High-quality hotel, spa and restaurant with very attentive staff. Modern, clean, stylish rooms. Restaurant and bar are excellent quality. Overall, very good for business or couples. The pool and spa are small, but very nice and heated. And to reiterate, the staff are very hospitable. Location is a 15-20 minute walk or taxi to the charming area. Kids can swim but not loudly as it is a spa.
