I only visited the roof top bar and want to express my appreciation for Diana, one of the bar tenders! She was so incredibly helpful and sweet, definitely one of the highlights of the trip! Always helped to find the best spot and recommended drinks that were on point.
Absolutely the Worst 5-Star Experience – Stay Away at All Costs! This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had — and I’ve stayed in dozens of properties around the world. I’m shocked this place is rated 5 stars — it deserves ZERO. • Unprofessional and rude staff: From check-in to checkout, there was zero courtesy. The staff treated us with blatant disrespect, ignored basic requests, and made us feel like we were a burden, not guests. • Room condition was appalling: The room was unclean, poorly maintained, and had a foul smell. No housekeeping ever showed up, even after repeated requests. They dont have any housekeeping staff who cleans the room. If you book it for 2 days, dont expect them to come and clean the room on the second day. And if you book the room for one day , be ready to enter a dirty room with used towels and dirty carpets. • Air conditioning was broken in the middle of summer, and they didn’t bother fixing it or even offering an alternative solution. Instead their suggestion is “open the window and sleep”. So you pay so much only to sleep with insects all night!! We had sleepless nights in unbearable heat. • Service? Non-existent. No apologies, no follow-ups, no care. It’s like the staff were trained not to help. The telephone in the room doesn’t work (or they have intentionally cut off the lines so that customers can’t call for anything). So you have to keep going down to inform the receptionist that AC doesn’t work, or we need the room to be cleaned. • This is a scam in the name of luxury. Nothing about this place is remotely “5-star.” Monograph Freedom Square should be ashamed of calling itself a luxury hotel. Avoid this place like the plague. There are far better places in Tbilisi that actually care about guests and deliver what they promise.
The hotel is extremely well designed. Minimalistic and well detailed. The rooms are aesthetically well designed. but the bathrooms are cramped. The breakfast was average. not bad. The most horrible is the management. They are not customer friendly, they hardly even care about guest requests. The pillows are flattened and not comfortable. They don't have a solution for this. They don't have a travel desk or a concierge. They cannot suggest or advice the guests about places to visit, how to travel or any other recommondations to the guests. Basically, they are not bothered. Based on all of these facts, I find the hotel over hyped and over priced. I definitely don't recommend this hotel for a stay.
