It’s good for all families. Especially for kids before elementary school. Good amusement pool, dinners and hot springs!
Best holiday destination fantastic atmosphere good hospitality, you will love it.
The word disappointment doesn’t come close. 1) Despite it already be incredibly expensive (paid ¥240,000 for two nights), they still squeeze every penny out of you. i) if you arrive before check in you can use the pool. BUT rather than supply you with a towel, you need to pay ¥650 per person to rent a towel... yes, rent a low quality towel from a resort you are about to stay in. ii) drinks other than tap water, and awful tasting tea and coffee are not included in the buffet. Drinks cost upwards of ¥500, even for children and babies. 2) the buffet is by far the most limited selection I have ever experienced at a resort hotel. For children it was ebi fry, cheap alphabet fried potato and not much else. 3) the room was very small. 4) the futons are not rolled out at any specific time and can come as late as 9pm. For a family resort to come round at 9pm.... especially for families that travelled far. 5) when I called the front desk to ask why they our futon hadn’t been rolled out, she asked “is that ok?” after informing me it could be 9pm. I said “well, no..” and she hung up. Without doubt, worst resort hotel I have stayed in in Japan. (To give context, I’ve stayed in around 5/6 resorts).
