Lovely place, very quiet with excellent food (especially the lamb is delicious!). Rooms are a bit small but in the summer that is a plus as air conditioning works better. Pleasant rooftop, and good location with a 2min walk into the Medina. Service is responsive. Recommend, very good price quality ratio.

I have been a guest at Mon Riad many times over the last 11 years. I’ve written reviews on here about how much I enjoy staying there. The reason I return each year is that the quality of the accommodation is of a very high standard with a great attention to detail. Over the years the staff have become friends of mine and it is a delight to be welcomed as part of their family. In a sector where staff turnover is traditionally high, it is a clear sign of a well run business that it can retain the same staff. All of them take a personal pride in what they are doing and this is reflected in the quality of the experience. We had one of their superior rooms. Room 3. It offered comfortable twin beds and a large bathroom. I have no hesitation in recommending Mon Riad.

Absolutely amazing location, and amazing hosts! The lovely gentleman working at night was so helpful and took great care of us. We stayed two nights, one before a desert trip and one after, and they were able to hold our bags for us during our 3 days away no problem. We arrived late at night sometimes with no problems. He made sure we always had tea and made sure we had water for our desert trip. He made the experience great! A nice humble riad in the absolutely ideal location, close to the market, the palaces, and a parking lot so you don’t have to drag your luggage so far after arriving. Recommended!
