Montagne Alternative is an absolute gem — a true mountain retreat that far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the stunning beauty of the surroundings. It’s remote enough to feel like a complete escape from the world, yet thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The rooms are simply gorgeous — cozy, stylish, and blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the warm, inviting decor to the incredible views from every window. It’s the kind of place where you feel at home the second you step inside. The staff are some of the friendliest and most genuine people you'll ever met. Always smiling, always helpful, they make sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. It felt like staying with close friends who happen to run an impeccably well-organized mountain lodge. There’s no shortage of activities here, either. Whether you’re into hiking, yoga, cooking classes, or just relaxing in nature, there’s something for everyone. The activities are all thoughtfully planned and executed with precision. Every experience feels personal and well-curated, making it easy to connect with both the place and other guests. Delightful view and calm. Beautiful alpine accommodation. Good food and service. Great place to take a break and recharge. Several hiking trails start from the very place. (and if need be, they also have a good internet connection)

Spent 3 nights at one of the Chalets and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the outside the Chalets are pretty nondescript but once you see the interior and the view, your mind will be blown. Just bring enough food and drinks (and toothpaste), everything else can be found in the chalet, which is pretty much equipped like a hotel.
