We were greeting by amazing front desk staff. They were interns from Italy, pleasant polite and helpful. We were upgraded to beach front room which was an incredible site to see. Maureen in the concierge was very helpful and booked our complimentary boat ride with Captain Paul. The food was amazing both at the food truck ,which is located by the family friendly pool, accompanied by a sand field, hammocks, and cornhole for entertainment, and the main restaurant. Family Friendly and Dog friendly. My children had a blast!
We had the BEST experience at Montauk Yacht Club! We recently had a wedding in Montauk and hosted a welcome event here, and this was by far the best vendor we worked with all weekend!! Everyone on the staff was so attentive, helpful, and kind (big big thank you to Alex, Anna, and everyone else!!!). They were amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly with no stress on our end. The food is incredible - for a date night, a big group, or a large event, the quality is always top notch. I love to grab dinner here all the time, and our party guests were all talking about it being the best wedding food they've ever had. And the restaurant has more than just delicious food and drinks, it also has a very chic ambiance and frequently has amazing live music. We stayed here as hotel guests for a weekend and had a great experience, and we had a room block for our wedding guests and they all raved about how wonderful everything was. The location and beautiful water views can't be beat. 1000/10 will definitely be back!
I’ve visited Montauk Yacht Club multiple times in the past and always considered it a special getaway — serene views, great food, and warm hospitality. Sadly, this visit was a complete letdown. When we arrived, our bed sheets were visibly dirty. We had to wait for housekeeping to replace them before we could even settle in. Even worse, a cup in our room had dirt inside — clear evidence that it hadn’t been cleaned or changed for new guests. These are basic expectations that simply weren’t met. The disappointment didn’t stop there. During dinner, our waitress rushed us to place our order, claiming the kitchen was closing — even as other guests continued to arrive and leisurely browse their menus. The sense of being hurried and unwelcome was hard to ignore. It’s heartbreaking to see how much the experience has deteriorated. What used to be a laid-back, high-quality destination now feels careless and impersonal. I truly hope the Yacht Club returns to the standard that made it so beloved — but for now, I’m just deeply disappointed.
