For those who claim this is a hostel: Monte Carlo Palace Suites is an apartment hotel, where each apartment has one or more private bathrooms. Our two bed apartment had three. Monte Carlo Palace Rooms on the other had is a hostel with shared bathrooms. Check what you are booking and don't confuse the two in reviews.
This place is stated as a hotel but it’s actually a hostel with shared bathrooms. We had trouble contacting a manager to complain about the situation. The rooms and bathrooms smelled of bleach and cheap detergent and the price was awfully high for the conditions offered. I do not recommend the location.
It is listed as 4 star hotel, but it couldn't be farther from the truth! It is an apartment building where they rent out rooms in the basement. There are 4 rooms in a section and then a shared male and female bathroom, across from the rooms. It is a glorified hostel! It isn't close to downtown and you have to take a bus or cab to get to downtown. I have never been more disappointed in a booking reservation than I have with this one.
