The accomodations are on a beautiful and peaceful farm and we enjoyed the opportunity to just mellow out in nature and go for lovely walks in spring wildflowers right out our door onto the large property. The family that owns the farm lives on site and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated that Alexandra went above and beyond to accommodate our baby - including crib, baby bathtub, high chair, and toys. And we all loved meeting the horses right outside our door. The breakfast every day was delicious with local cheeses, fresh orange juice, and yogurts. The towns nearby are very quaint, though sleepy. We did a lovely lunch and a wine tour at the Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, a beautiful property nearby.
