Monte dos Pocos Agroturismo

Visited in August 2024 This was a fantastic place that we stayed on our way to Lisbon. This is an absolutely beautiful place in the country. It is impeccably manicured and very well kept up. The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, ac was cold, wifi was fast, bed was comfortable, room was big, bathroom was clean...perfect, absolutely perfect. We took time to take a dip in the very large pool that was very enjoyable. We got a drink from the bar and it was quick and delicious! The lady who runs it cooked dinner for us fresh and it was delicious. It was a local dish...pork and shells with potatoes in a wine and butter sauce. WOW!!! We wish we would have had time to stay for a few days! If you are anywhere close...come and stay here...you will be very impressed and enjoy your stay.

The nicest place we have stayed in Portugal. The welcome on arrival was second to none, and this continued for the rest of the stay. The room was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. The location was peaceful and quiet. There was an outside pool we stood in and watched the sun go down with an ice cold beer. All of the drinks and meals were reasonably priced, they had an extensive wine list, but the thing that impressed us most was the food was freshly prepared for us, not pre prepared. We stayed here as part of our N2 road trip, but will definitely be going back for the food, drinks and hospitality. 110%

Great place! Beautiful design of the hotel! Super clean rooms! Nice breakfast was served at the time we picked. Lovely owners. They were super patient and met us with smile very late at night when we arrived. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet place to stay you are not going to find anything better. Convenient location on the way to the south shore but far from it if you are planning to stay in Algavre more than one day. Definitely we would advise this place 👍👍👍
