Monte Ingles

This is a wonderful property with a garden located in a perfect location for exploring the island by car. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Exceeded our expectations! Located in a quiet rural area, yet only a few minutes drive to the airport. Perfect location for exploring the whole island. The apartment was clean and the property well maintained. The owner was very helpful with dining suggestions and even arranged dinner reservation for us. View of the horses in the morning was a bonus!

Staying at Monte Inglês feels like you’re staying with a family member. The property is quiet, and welcoming. You have full access to the kitchen, which we used for breakfast every morning. The rooms are made up everyday. We slept very well, and often slept late since the shades on the windows block all the light. There is no AC, but the house stays cool and there are rarely any bugs so the windows can stay open. As like all Azores, the home is very humid but the rooms have dehumidifiers. I advise for anyone that is sensitive to mold, since it does grow in this humid environment (especially in the bathroom). Carolina was very welcoming and gave us a paper with all of her recommendations for the island, it was very helpful. She is such a kind person! There are two dogs on the property, both are very sweet and loving.
