Monte Rosa

Staying at this quaint hotel was truly a delight from start to finish. Its perfect location made exploring the area incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The staff's helpfulness and attentiveness enhanced the overall experience significantly. Furthermore, the breakfast spread offered was absolutely fantastic, providing a wonderful start to each day. They were also able to cater to dietary requirements.

I stayed here for 2 nights with a tour group. It’s a charming hotel with an ‘old world’ ambiance but with very modern bathrooms. My room had both a walk in shower and a spa bathtub. There was a view of both the church on the left and the Matterhorn off to the right. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. One staff member in particular along with my APT tour leader went to a great deal of trouble to retrieve some belongings I had left in the museum across the street which had closed before I realised I’d left them behind.

Old and charming hotel that you would only get one room key because it is real old fashioned key and you would have to leave the key at the front desk whenever you go out. The rooms are very dark with small windows and dark color interior furnishing. I don’t like the shower in tub with half wall in the main bathroom, so we all took showers in the tiny shower inside the small bathroom. Very friendly front desk and concierge. Appreciate that the hotel offers complimentary pickup and shuttles to and from the train station if you don’t want to walk with luggage or in a rush. The South American restaurant(Colombian food) in the hotel is delicious, but you do have to deal with flies flying around your food, as the case the other restaurants we went in town. The breakfast restaurant is inside the building and it’s old and beautiful and has decent selections including a waffle maker for making your own waffle.
