We loved our stay at the Montebelo Vista Alegre in Lisboa! Great location for shopping and sightseeing. The breakfast and espresso tasted amazing. What a treat to have dinner at their Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant called Ponja!
Beautiful hotel room, can be a bit small but pretty. Friendly staff. Breakfast is ok. The only issue is it can get pretty noisy at night, but that’s the vibe of the neighborhood.
Pro - Best central location for a tourist. - Very friendly staff — always smiling and helping customers e.g. helping carry bags - The windows can be closed for blackout (but it is a wooden panel that you have to close in person) - Smart TV FYI - Lobby looks better in pictures. - Restaurant downstairs is Japanese Peruvian. - One tiny tiny elevator (3 people with 2 luggages felt crammed). Con - In terms of rooms, it was beautifully designed but felt small. We had a large suitcase and a small one and there was very little room to keep both open. Summary: - Nothing notable beyond location. - Would probably stay somewhere else if I’m back in Lisbon.
