Stayed for 3 nights and I wished I could stay some more. It is the only hotel in Monterey with beachfront access. Price is reasonable. Food in the property’s restaurants are excellent and reasonably priced. The view is amazing. The only downside is the bathroom in my room is old. But the positives outweigh the negative 5 to 1. I loved it so much that I am coming again in July for 2 nights. Very relaxing stay. All the staff are happy and friendly.
I had a wonderful stay at the Monterey Beach Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel! The location is unbeatable – right by the beach with stunning ocean views that make every moment feel special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring Monterey. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure everything about my stay was perfect. I also loved the easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and scenic spots. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monterey!
The location is everything, you are right by the beach with a gorgeous view. The views and the convenience are so worth it. The rooms are nice and the complimentary breakfast with your Marriott points is actually a fulfilling one. It’s family friendly, couple friendly and solo traveler friendly and would recommend a night to three here.. I removed one star because there was no hot water for a while the night we arrived (though it was eventually fixed) and parking is $50 a night, which can add up if you are staying multiple nights. It’s the little things, you know..
